]]> Introducing Penny Marble Basalt, a striking penny-round mosaic that brings understated luxury to walls and floors alike. Cut from genuine basalt marble in a deep, moody black, each sheet showcases classic 25mm circular chips arranged in a rhythmic, tightly interlocked pattern, with subtle natural mineral speckling that gives every piece organic depth and individuality. The honed matte finish softens light rather than reflecting it, creating a velvety, tactile surface that reads as grounded and sophisticated rather than glossy or cold.

Each mesh-mounted sheet measures 11 x 11.75 inches, delivering 0.90 square feet of coverage, with 13 sheets per box totaling 11.67 square feet—making layout planning and installation straightforward for both DIYers and professional contractors. At 3/8 inch thick, this marble mosaic offers the density and durability expected of natural stone while remaining workable for detailed installations.

Penny Marble Basalt is approved for interior dry walls, interior floors, shower walls, and shower floors, plus exterior wall applications, making it a versatile choice for kitchen backsplashes, spa-like bathrooms, and dramatic accent walls. Its slip-resistant matte texture and dense composition make it a dependable pick for wet areas, though it should be reserved for interior floors and walls rather than pools or exterior flooring.

Design-wise, this basalt mosaic pairs beautifully with matte black fixtures, warm wood tones, brushed brass, and white or light-toned countertops, complementing industrial, minimalist, coastal, and dark luxury interiors alike. Whether you’re crafting a moody shower surround or a bold kitchen feature wall, Penny Marble Basalt delivers timeless texture and quiet drama. Explore this collection today to bring authentic stone character into your next residential or commercial project.
