PASSION AZUL MATTE 9X9
## Quick Design Take
When you’re after a clean, composed backdrop, this one does the heavy lifting. From Emser’s Passion line in the Azul selection, this porcelain field tile is sized 9X9 (Floor, Deco). Emser describes Passion as a wall tile that reimagines the classic subway vibe with striking color and an elevated, ethereal feel.
## Best Layout Options
If you want height on a wall, go vertical; if you want the room to feel wider, go horizontal. Oblong formats are versatile: stack them for a crisp modern grid or run them in a classic brick pattern for warmth. On floors, keep your main runs straight and your cuts balanced at the perimeter; that’s what makes an install look professional.
## Surface Notes
Matte finishes read relaxed and current, and they’re great when you want the room to feel calm instead of shiny. The colorway is versatile enough to act as a background, which is exactly what you want in a surface you’ll live with every day. Keep grout selection simple: match for seamless, contrast for character.
## Finish the Look
It works with both cool and warm accents—think nickel + oak or black metal + walnut. Use lighting like a designer: warm LEDs, dimmers, and a couple of punchy fixtures make the tile feel richer.
## Coverage Details
Each carton contains 20 piece(s). Coverage is approximately 10.9 per carton. Unit of measure: SF. Plan typical overage for cuts and waste—more if you’re running diagonals, borders, or a heavy pattern layout. This one stays in its lane: polished, practical, and easy to style a dozen different ways.
