PASSION NERO MATTE 9X9

PASSION NERO MATTE 9X9

## Quick Design Take
It has that pulled-from-a-magazine vibe, but it’s not trying too hard. From Emser’s Passion line in the Nero selection, this porcelain field tile is sized 9X9 (Floor, Deco). Emser describes Passion as a wall tile that reimagines the classic subway vibe with striking color and an elevated, ethereal feel.

## Best Layout Options
Stacked installation reads modern and tailored—especially with a tone-matched grout. A third-offset pattern can add rhythm while avoiding that repeating “zipper” look. On floors, keep your main runs straight and your cuts balanced at the perimeter; that’s what makes an install look professional.

## Surface Notes
Matte finishes read relaxed and current, and they’re great when you want the room to feel calm instead of shiny. The Nero tone gives you a strong base for the rest of the palette—paint, cabinets, and hardware can swing warmer or cooler without fighting the finish. For a calm, cohesive finish, choose a grout that blends with the tile; for more definition, go a shade deeper.

## Finish the Look
Add texture—woven rugs, ribbed glass, and natural linens—to keep the dark palette from feeling flat. Use lighting like a designer: warm LEDs, dimmers, and a couple of punchy fixtures make the tile feel richer.

## Coverage Details
Each carton contains 20 piece(s). Coverage is approximately 10.9 per carton. Unit of measure: SF. Plan typical overage for cuts and waste—more if you’re running diagonals, borders, or a heavy pattern layout. It’s classic design logic: start with a strong neutral, then layer in the fun stuff.
