CITIZEN ELECTOR MATTE 24X24
## Interior Designer Notes
It has that pulled-from-a-magazine vibe, but it’s not trying too hard. From Emser’s Citizen line in the Elector selection, this porcelain field tile is sized 24X24 (Floor, Large Format). Emser describes Citizen as a classic concrete look with subtle brushed color variation for an industrial-meets-refined vibe.
## Proportion and Pattern
Consider a tight, consistent joint and a grout color that sits close to the tile for a more monolithic look. For a calmer, spa-like feel, keep the layout simple and let the scale do the talking. On floors, keep your main runs straight and your cuts balanced at the perimeter; that’s what makes an install look professional.
## Material Mood
Matte finishes read relaxed and current, and they’re great when you want the room to feel calm instead of shiny. The colorway is versatile enough to act as a background, which is exactly what you want in a surface you’ll live with every day. For a calm, cohesive finish, choose a grout that blends with the tile; for more definition, go a shade deeper.
## Palette Pairings
Keep it classic: shaker cabinets, simple stone counters, and a clean trim profile. For a timeless finish, keep your cabinet door style simple and let the tile be the subtle upgrade.
## Ordering Guidance
Each carton contains 4 piece(s). Coverage is approximately 15.5 per carton. Unit of measure: SF. Plan typical overage for cuts and waste—more if you’re running diagonals, borders, or a heavy pattern layout. It’s classic design logic: start with a strong neutral, then layer in the fun stuff.
