CITIZEN SUBJECT MATTE 24X24
## Visual Impact
It’s a classic look you’ll still like years from now. From Emser’s Citizen line in the Subject selection, this porcelain field tile is sized 24X24 (Floor, Large Format). Emser describes Citizen as a classic concrete look with subtle brushed color variation for an industrial-meets-refined vibe.
## Flow and Direction
On big sizes like this, a straight lay feels architectural, while a subtle offset adds movement without getting busy. Large-format pieces keep grout lines to a minimum, so the surface reads cleaner and more seamless. On floors, keep your main runs straight and your cuts balanced at the perimeter; that’s what makes an install look professional.
## Color and Reflection
Matte finishes read relaxed and current, and they’re great when you want the room to feel calm instead of shiny. The colorway is versatile enough to act as a background, which is exactly what you want in a surface you’ll live with every day. Keep grout selection simple: match for seamless, contrast for character.
## Styling Ideas
It works with both cool and warm accents—think nickel + oak or black metal + walnut. Layer in texture—linen, wood grain, and brushed metals—so the room feels designed, not decorated.
## Carton Math
Each carton contains 4 piece(s). Coverage is approximately 15.5 per carton. Unit of measure: SF. Plan typical overage for cuts and waste—more if you’re running diagonals, borders, or a heavy pattern layout. The best part: it gives you room to change paint, hardware, and decor over time without redoing the tile.
