CONTESSA ORO MATTE 18X18

CONTESSA ORO MATTE 18X18

## Collection Character
This is the kind of tile that quietly upgrades a space the second it goes down. From Emser’s Contessa line in the Oro selection, this porcelain field tile is sized 18X18 (Floor, Large Format). Emser describes Contessa as a classic marble-vein inspired glazed porcelain look offered in matte or glossy finishes for a timeless backdrop.

## Scale Guidance
If you like a modern grid, this format makes it look deliberate instead of “builder basic.” Consider a tight, consistent joint and a grout color that sits close to the tile for a more monolithic look. On floors, keep your main runs straight and your cuts balanced at the perimeter; that’s what makes an install look professional.

## Tone and Contrast
Matte finishes read relaxed and current, and they’re great when you want the room to feel calm instead of shiny. The Oro tone gives you a strong base for the rest of the palette—paint, cabinets, and hardware can swing warmer or cooler without fighting the finish. A tone-on-tone grout keeps the surface smooth and modern; a contrasting grout calls out the pattern.

## Design Pairings
It’s a natural fit with white walls, mixed metals, and either light or medium wood cabinetry. Finish it with simple baseboards and a clean threshold; the details are what make it look custom.

## Ordering Notes
Each carton contains 9 piece(s). Coverage is approximately 19.6173 per carton. Unit of measure: SF. Plan typical overage for cuts and waste—more if you’re running diagonals, borders, or a heavy pattern layout. If you’re building a space you want to live with for years, this is a solid starting point.
