Elysium Tiles’ Dragon Scale Royal Blue 9.75 x 12 mosaic brings sculptural texture and rich color to any surface it touches. Part of the Dragon Scale Porcelain collection, this handmade porcelain mosaic is arranged in an overlapping scale pattern, creating a dimensional, almost reptilian surface that catches light beautifully as it fans across the wall or floor. The deep royal blue tone carries natural variation from tile to tile, a signature of handmade production that gives each installation organic movement and depth rather than a flat, uniform appearance. Each mesh-mounted sheet measures 9.75 x 12 inches with individual scale chips forming the design, covering 0.81 square feet per sheet and 10.53 square feet per box, with 13 sheets to a box for straightforward coverage planning on larger projects.

This versatile porcelain mosaic is rated for interior dry walls, interior floors, shower walls and shower floors, pools and pool liners, as well as exterior walls, though it is not recommended for exterior floors. At 1/4 inch thick, it suits accent walls, shower surrounds, pool waterlines, and eye-catching backsplashes where texture and color are meant to be the focal point.

Designers love combining this mosaic with matte white subway tile, brushed brass fixtures, or natural wood vanities for a coastal or transitional look. Because handmade tiles like this are produced in limited batches, availability can shift over time, so homeowners, designers, and contractors drawn to this distinctive scale pattern should order sample sheets and secure quantities early to keep their project on schedule.
