CARU COLINA MATTE 13X13
## Design Snapshot
If you’re trying to avoid design regret, start with a tile like this. From Emser’s Caru line in the Colina selection, this ceramic field tile is sized 13X13 (Floor, Standard Size).
## Scale and Layout
Oblong formats are versatile: stack them for a crisp modern grid or run them in a classic brick pattern for warmth. For a little designer move, try a herringbone on a feature wall (and keep the rest simple). On floors, keep your main runs straight and your cuts balanced at the perimeter; that’s what makes an install look professional.
## Surface and Color
Matte finishes read relaxed and current, and they’re great when you want the room to feel calm instead of shiny. The colorway is versatile enough to act as a background, which is exactly what you want in a surface you’ll live with every day. If your goal is “high-end and quiet,” stay close on grout color. If you want graphic, add contrast.
## Decorator Pairings
Pair it with soft taupe paint, brushed brass, and warm wood for a timeless, neutral scheme. If you like contrast, go darker on the grout or the hardware—but not both at the same time.
## Carton Notes
Each carton contains 14 piece(s). Coverage is approximately 16.604 per carton. Unit of measure: SF. Plan typical overage for cuts and waste—more if you’re running diagonals, borders, or a heavy pattern layout. It’s versatile without being bland—exactly what you want in a surface you’ll see every day.
