JARGON STRATA IVORY MATTE 24X47
## What It Brings to a Room
This one plays well with both warm and cool palettes, so you’re not boxed in later. From Emser’s Jargon line in the Strata Ivory selection, this porcelain field tile is sized 24X47 (Floor, Oblong). Emser describes Jargon as a glazed porcelain take on vein-cut travertine with honed and textured options for a refined stone feel.
## Layout Moves
Consider a tight, consistent joint and a grout color that sits close to the tile for a more monolithic look. For a calmer, spa-like feel, keep the layout simple and let the scale do the talking. On floors, keep your main runs straight and your cuts balanced at the perimeter; that’s what makes an install look professional.
## Finish and Light
Matte finishes read relaxed and current, and they’re great when you want the room to feel calm instead of shiny. The Ivory tone gives you a strong base for the rest of the palette—paint, cabinets, and hardware can swing warmer or cooler without fighting the finish. For a calm, cohesive finish, choose a grout that blends with the tile; for more definition, go a shade deeper.
## Style Suggestions
Lean into contrast: walnut cabinets, dark metal accents, and a clean white trim package. Layer in texture—linen, wood grain, and brushed metals—so the room feels designed, not decorated.
## Coverage at a Glance
Each carton contains 2 piece(s). Coverage is approximately 15.538 per carton. Unit of measure: SF. Plan typical overage for cuts and waste—more if you’re running diagonals, borders, or a heavy pattern layout. It’s a smart foundation: timeless enough for resale, stylish enough for everyday pride-of-ownership.
