STERLINA II ASPHALT MATTE 24X24

STERLINA II ASPHALT MATTE 24X24

## Statement Factor
This is a great “set it and forget it” surface—timeless, not trendy. From Emser’s Sterlina Ii line in the Asphalt selection, this porcelain field tile is sized 24X24 (Floor, Large Format). Emser describes Sterlina II as a blend of timeless marble character with an urban concrete influence, finished with subtle veining for visual movement.

## Installation Direction
For a calmer, spa-like feel, keep the layout simple and let the scale do the talking. On big sizes like this, a straight lay feels architectural, while a subtle offset adds movement without getting busy. On floors, keep your main runs straight and your cuts balanced at the perimeter; that’s what makes an install look professional.

## Texture and Tone
Matte finishes read relaxed and current, and they’re great when you want the room to feel calm instead of shiny. The colorway is versatile enough to act as a background, which is exactly what you want in a surface you’ll live with every day. When in doubt, a mid-tone grout hides everyday life better than ultra-white.

## Pair It With
Add a patterned runner or textured rug to give the neutral base a little personality. Add a rug with real texture (not just a print) to soften hard surfaces and make the space feel lived-in.

## Project Planning
Each carton contains 4 piece(s). Coverage is approximately 15.5 per carton. Unit of measure: SF. Plan typical overage for cuts and waste—more if you’re running diagonals, borders, or a heavy pattern layout. This is the kind of backbone finish designers lean on because it doesn’t date itself fast.
